Mobility

Mobility refers to the ability to move freely and easily. It can encompass physical movement, such as the transportation of individuals or goods from one location to another, as well as the broader concept of accessibility to various modes of transportation, including walking, cycling, driving, and public transit. Mobility can refer to both individual capability and systemic infrastructure that facilitates movement. In a social context, mobility can also relate to social mobility, which describes the ability of individuals or families to move up or down the socioeconomic ladder. Overall, mobility is an essential factor in daily life, urban planning, economic development, and social equity.
